Xi’an Taoyuan Metallurgical Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd is a private high-tech enterprise specialized in R & D,and manufacture of electric steelmaking and electric heating equipment. The company was founded in the late of 1980s in Xi’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone with registered capital of RMB 21million.
Main products of the company include initial electric furnace and secondary refining equipment of electric steelmaking, such as the most advanced high-impedance ultra-high power arc furnace, DC electric arc furnace and ladle refining furnace of various metallurgical functions. The company’s product design and manufacturing capacity has reached 100 tons electric arc furnaces and 300 tons ladle refining furnaces. Our products have played a positive role in promoting the development of China electric steelmaking and continuous casting & rolling process technology.
In ladle refining furnace, based on absorption of overseas advanced technology, the company uses accumulated experience over years and develops new independent ladle refining furnace product, including four patent technologies (sealed type water-cooling furnace cover, one-off smoke removal and dust collection device, furnace cover lifting gear, heating frame). Features of the new ladle refining furnace: simple structure, easy maintenance, not only able to guarantee reducing atmosphere requirement of refining furnace smelting, but also meet environmental protection requirement during production, as well as effectively reduce manufacturing costs. The "automatic argon blowing device" has achieved national patent. The device can accurately control blowing argon requirements of the steelmaking process, effectively reduce smelting costs, further improve the inherent quality of liquid steel, improve product quality, and has significant economic benefits with good market prospects.
In steel-making electric arc furnace, based on overseas advanced technology, hosted by the senior electric furnace experts of the company, the company, tracking latest international technology development, has developed and manufactured high-impedance electric arc furnace; and will strengthen both resource and technology investment in reactor arrangement, profound auxiliary resource application, and environmental protection performance improvement, as well as improve design level of whole set electric arc furnace. At the same time, the company has also made substantial technical preparations for DC arc furnace and vacuum degassing equipment, and created good conditions for multi-touch needle electrode DC furnace and VD create furnace.
There are 210 employees in the company, including 60 engineering and technical personnel (15 senior engineers, 3 senior advisers, 2 masters of engineering, 31 engineers). The company has strong technical strength. The company has 20,000 square meters factory with complete professional equipment, which created good conditions for product manufacturing, assembly and experiment.
After years of efforts, and constant management and product quality improvement, the company successfully passed the ISO9001 International Quality Management System Certification in 2004, and European Union CE certification in March 2006. The company's electric arc furnace and ladle furnace has been successfully exported to Turkey, Nicaragua, Mongolia and other countries.
